Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Let me introduce myself! My name is Brittany and I'm a mom living in Northern BC with my beautiful son, loving husband and two fur babies.

I grew up in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia with two loving adoptive parents who really gave me all they could. I was heavily involved in the Arts during grade school and eventually attended university to study music, classic history and attended vocational school to get my certificate as a legal secretary. Life moved me around a bit, and after meeting my husband on Vancouver Island, we landed in Prince George in 2013 and we've never looked back. I currently work as a Senior Project Management Analyst with our Provincial mining regulator!

I'm a bit of a Jill-of-all-Trades when it comes to hobbies. I'm a trained soprano as well as a seamstress and fibre-artist with a love for all thinks geek and whatever else I can get my hands on. Video games and board games are a mutual interest I have with my husband, and we spend time together in virtual worlds or on the game table.

​

Behind the scenes, I am also a Mental Health Warrior, surviving and thriving every day with my diagnosis of depression and generalized anxiety. I'm also living with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) and Secondary Unexplained Infertility, which can add layers of struggles.

I've always been a bookworm, but over the past years, and especially during isolation amid the pandemic, I began to turn to books for at-home comfort. This turned into another amazing adventure that has seeped into my very being - to the point where I think I might even want to write my own!
